Privacy Policy
Last updated: 22 August 2026
Ghost Ledger is built for privacy. We do not operate any user-facing servers and we never store any of your portfolio data. The only personal data we process is the advertising and traffic measurement described below.
What we store
Nothing. All holdings, exchange API keys, and Bitcoin addresses you add to Ghost Ledger are stored encrypted on your device and never leave it.
Website
This marketing website uses the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API to measure ad performance, plus Vercel Analytics for aggregated traffic statistics. No identifying data is sold or shared beyond Meta. Tracking is consent-gated — if you decline cookies, no analytics or pixel events are recorded.
Data collected: hashed IP and user agent (Meta), click events on download CTAs, scroll depth, time on page, anonymous referrer and UTM parameters. We do not collect names, email addresses, or any portfolio data on the website.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR (consent). You may withdraw consent at any time by clearing the cookie banner choice in your browser storage (key: ghost_ledger_cookie_consent).
App
The Ghost Ledger app includes the Meta SDK so we can measure how well our app advertising performs. It reports app events — such as installation, app activation and subscription purchases — to Meta, together with device and app identifiers and your IP address. Your holdings, exchange API keys and addresses are never part of this; they stay encrypted on your device.
On iOS this is governed by Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you decline, no advertising identifier is used and measurement falls back to Apple's aggregated SKAdNetwork reporting, which does not identify you individually. You can change that choice at any time under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Price Data
Price information is powered by CoinGecko. Ghost Ledger requests public market data only; no user identifier is transmitted.
Your Rights
We hold no portfolio data, so there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete. For the advertising data processed by Meta as described above, you can exercise your rights directly with Meta, or contact info@kleinesolutions.com and we will forward your request.
